Dominique Lazarre

I attended Eckerd College for my undergraduate studies, receiving my B.S. in 2006, in both Marine Science and Environmental Studies. After graduation I spent two years working as the Instructor for Eckerd’s Maritime Search and Rescue Organization before deciding to return the world of science. I am now a PhD student at RSMAS, in the division of Marine Biology and Fisheries. My research interests include the development of sustainable fisheries and stock assessment. I have been working with the South Florida Student Shark Program since joining RSMAS, and recently completed a fisheries research cruise with the R/V Delaware II with the LMRCSC program.
