In May 2007, I graduated with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Economics from the University of Dayton. Currently, I am working on my doctorate with Dr. John Hoenig at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science in the Department of Fisheries Science. My project is collaborative with the Turks and Caicos Department of Environment and Coastal Resources (DECR) and involves aspects of the economics, conservation, fisheries management, and population assessment of queen conch. The project involves a variety of field and laboratory studies and population modeling.
