LMRCSC
Living Marine Resources Cooperative Science Center
The LMRCSC is a collaborative program initiated in 2001 between NOAA and the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) with the purpose of training students for careers in NOAA and conducting fisheries science research. The center is a partnership between NOAA and the following minority serving Universities:

The Center has four areas of focus:
Aquaculture
Quantitative Fisheries
Fisheries Socioeconomics
Essential Fish Habitat

o Developing socio-economic indicators for billfish
o Grey snapper salinity preference and habitat selection
o Trophodynamics of larval billfish
o The South Florida Student Shark Program (SFSSP)
